One of the effects of the progress of vehicles on natural resources, including rangelands, is the establishment of soil roads for different purposes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of road on plants (distance of impact) on the number of flowers per plant for three plant species (Helichrysum oligocephalum, Helichrysum rubicundum and Helichrysum araxinum) with 15 m distance in Shabestar rangelands. Results were analyzed by split plot design with completely randomized design with four replications for each species. In Helichrysum rubicundum, the average number of flowers per plant at 30 m distance from the road was not significantly different from 100 m (control) and 45 m from the road. The effect of road impact on flowering of this species is 15 meters. The reduction in flower number per plant for Helichrysum araxinum and Helichrysum oligocephalum was 20.46% and 39.42%, respectively, 30 m from the road compared to 100 m (control). For these two species, the effective distance of the road to flowering is 30 m. The study showed that flowering rates of these plants are affected up to 15 m from the road margin.
