Abstract

This study conducted for fish fauna identification and distributions in Sezar River, one of the main rivers in Lorestan province. The monthly sampling was done from June to December of 2011, using pursing net with 50mm mesh size. Totally, 366 fish sampled was fished. Belongs to, 7 species from2 families, Cyprinidae and Sisoridae. The identified species in this study are Capoeta damascina, Capoeta trutta, Cyprinion macrostomum, Chondrosto maregium, Barbusgrypus, Luciubarbus barbulus, Glyptothorax silviae.
